Approval of this project will bring thousands of truckloads of the world's most dangerous waste to our community for re-packaging and its eventual permanent abandonment in this proposed DGR in South Bruce.
Transportation accidents involving nuclear waste are common in Ontario. South Bruce residents will be heavily exposed to this risk.

Since 2010, more than one truck in seven carrying radioactive material has been pulled off the road by Ontario ministry of transportation inspectors for failing safety or other requirements. The information is contained in a notice  filed with a panel studying a proposal to establish a radioactive waste repository near Kincardine.
